Puan Hazami started the workshop with her talk entitled “Charting the future for Malaysia through Science Policy: What makes an impactful policy paper”

Puan Nitia session followed with a focus on the hands-on/ practical session on an ASM’s Special Interest Group (SIG): “Developing industry ready talent for STI-based enterprise post COVID-19″.

The participants had their first breakout session (by tables) by delving into the issue: “What are the major changes and discontinuities that necessitates the development of industry-ready talent?”

After lunch break, the participants proceeded with the second breakout session, discussing on the opportunities envisioned, challenges to materialise and feasible solutions to industry ready talent matter.
