Associate Professor Dr. Anwar P.P. Abdul Majeed is the Head of the Department of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence at the School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University, Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Rehabilitation Robotics from Universiti Malaysia Pahang (UMP), an MSc in Nuclear Engineering from Imperial College London, and a B.Eng. (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM).

Assoc. Prof. Ts. Dr. Mobamad Faizal Bin Ibrahim

Deputy Chairperson

Mohamad Faizal Ibrahim is an Associate Professor at UPM and Deputy Director of its Research Grant Management Section. A Professional Technologist (PTech) and AFOB Vice-President, he holds a PhD in Environmental Biotechnology. He leads research on converting biological waste into bioproducts like biofuels, enzymes, and feed. He has published 60* papers, 11 book chapters, and 3 books, with an h-index of 23. He has involved over 28 projects worth RM8.7 million and chairs a YSN-ASM working group.
