Since its inception on December 12, 2012, the Young Scientists Network-Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM) has been dedicated to fostering a community of young scientists committed to advancing scientific knowledge and innovation. As a non-profit organization under the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, YSN-ASM strives to unify and support young scientists in addressing national and global challenges. 2012

Foundation of YSN-ASM

YSN-ASM was officially founded on December 12, 2012, under the auspices of the Academy of Sciences Malaysia, with a mission to support young scientists.

2014

First National Symposium

YSN-ASM organized its first National Symposium, bringing together young scientists from across Malaysia to discuss emerging scientific trends and innovations.

2016

Launch of Mentorship Program

The Mentorship Program was launched to provide guidance and support to young scientists, fostering their professional growth and development.

2019

Expansion of Working Groups

YSN-ASM expanded its working groups to include new areas of focus, enhancing its ability to address a wider range of scientific and societal challenges.
